The Gemini Center on Quantum Technologies track on Quantum Sensors aims to bring the Norwegian community together and bridge the gap between academia, public sector and industry.
The sensing track focuses on quantum materials, sensing, metrology and devices. This can also be seen as the physics or hardware track.
The quantum sensing track has digital meetings monthly on the third Friday of each month. The meetings are announced via the mailing list and are open to all Gemini Center members. The sensing track aims to meet physically twice a year; once at the yearly Gemini Center on QT meeting, and once more. We are tentatively planning a physical meeting in January 2026 in Trondheim.
We are interested in topics related to (among other things) outreach, education, and strengthening of the Norwegian QT community. The track and track meetings are open to all who are interested in Norway.
When sending a membership request to the Sensors track, please tell us briefly about your affiliation and connection/interest to the Norwegian research field.
